Because of the new forms and other changes for 2012, we will be releasing a new major update to TradeLog – TradeLog 8.6. This update is necessary in order to file 2011 taxes with TradeLog!
The release of TradeLog 8.6 is expected around the end of January 2012.

Did you know that the Schedule D will look a lot different for 2011? In fact, traders and investors reporting capital gains and losses will have a NEW Form 8949 that must be filed along with the new Schedule D — some individuals may have as many as three different forms, depending on their trade history and broker reports. We have created a new resource page regarding New Forms for Reporting 2011 Taxes which will help you be informed of the new changes with the Schedule D and how they will affect you.
Here is a trick to bring the TradeLog Quick Start Guide right to your TradeLog window with just a few key strokes! Instead of going through the Global Options settings every time, use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Q to toggle the new Quick Start Panel either on or off.
